With Summer almost here perhaps you are planning an early short break or weighing up the choices for a longer holiday. Whichever it is, we're sure that comfort and good value for money are important.
Thistle Parks have lodges and cabins and holiday home caravans for hire. Thistle Parks are VisitScotland 4 or 5 stars - "excellent" or "exceptional" so you can be sure that the standards are high. The lodges and caravans are built to a high specificiation, with double-glazing and fixed heating. They are owned by the park and well maintained. Some parks have leisure facilities e.g. a swimming pool, bar and restaurant,. All our parks are open from Easter to end October, .
Children Welcome: Parks have safe play areas for kids, perhaps a games room, and some parks offer special entertainment during the hotidays.
Some have a Children Welcome award from VisitScotland to show that they go the extra mile for their young visitors.
Pets Welcome: Many parks welcome pets; look for the dog symbol on the park entries and ask about their dog-friendly lodge or caravan.
Value for money: Parks often have special deals. Check when you contact the park or look on our Special Offers' page.
Near a beach/by a village /countryside: On the parks' entries are the symbols B or C or V to give an indicaton of the park's location..
Accessibility: Some parks have lodges or caravans adapted for mobility impairment, shown by the symbol . Before booking, please ensure that the accessibility suits your needs. Parks may also show the symbol ; this means that facilities on the park are accessible, such as the restaurant.
Availability: If you have dates in mind but are not sure where to go, send one e.mail from our website to all the parks to check who has space.
