What can you expect when you stay in a Thistle holiday home?  Each park's entry on this website has symbols to show what the park has on-site or within two miles e.g. a shop, restaurant, games room, bar, leisure facilities, public golf course, fishing.   You can search by some of the facilities (see top of this page) or browse through the entries.  If you relying on finding a particular facility, please check with the park before booking.

VisitScotland Grading The VisitScotland grading for each park appears on their entry, either 4 stars ("an excellent standard") or 5 stars ("an exceptional standard").   All parks are inspected  every year by VisitScotland, the national tourist board., so you can be sure that standards are maintained.

VisitScotland Welcome Awards: Some Thistle Parks have gained an award from VisitScotland for the special facilities and services they provide to Walkers and Cyclists, Bikers, Anglers and Golfers. Some also have the Children Welcome award.
