Welcome to Sunnybrae Caravan Park on the easily accessible Isle of Luing, near Oban. Sunnybrae is a small, family owned 4 Star holiday park, with eight modern self catering holiday homes overlooking Cuan Sound on the spectacular West Coast of Scotland. We are ideal for those looking for a quiet, restful holiday in Scotland amid the spectacular scenery of the Highlands and islands. Children and dogs are very welcome.

With a regular 3-minute ferry crossing from Seil, we are ideally located for a day out on the mainland and equally suited to staying on Luing and doing as little as possible!

Our holiday homes are sited along the shore of Cuan Sound, and are angled to maximise the sea views from each. Seals, otters and a variety of sea birds are regularly seen from them, as well as the occasional visit by dolphins and porpoises. Each has its own picnic table and parking for one car and we have a small slipway and pontoon available for guests boats. All of the homes are very well equipped with everything you need to make your stay pleasant and relaxing.

In “The Bothy” we have Wifi, books, DVD's, games, barbecues, charcoal, crab lines and local information for your use, plus a small freezer full of frozen ready made meals and BBQ food. We also have frozen uncooked venison and fresh seafood for the more adventurous to create their own dishes! With a wee bit of notice, we can get you freshly caught lobsters, crabs, scallops and prawns from the Luing fishermen.  We also hire bikes.

Each of our modern holiday homes is very well equipped to maximise the enjoyment of your holiday with us with all linen provided and beds made up for your arrival

We have 8 four-berth holiday homes. All are double-glazed and are enviromental green in colour to blend in with our surroundings.

Kitchen with full-size gas cooker with four rings, grill and oven, microwave, toaster, under-counter fridge with small freezer compartment, electric kettle, crockery, cutlery, glasses, cooking utensils and other essentials. We also provide a selection of environmentally friendly cleaning products, including washing-up liquid and multi-surface cleaner, washing-up cloth, scourer, tea towels, matches, compost bin and oven gloves.

Bathroom - shower, toilet, wash basin with hand soap and shower mat, towels provided

Combined lounge and dining area with gas fire, comfortable seating, flat screen colour television with built in DVD player, information folder and guest book, and great complimentary views.

Bedrooms have warm air heaters, cupboards for storage, and bed linen including duvets, pillows and warm blankets are suppplied, with the beds made up for your arrival.

A travel cot (please bring your own bedding), bed bar and high chair are provided free of charge for our smaller guests if you ask at time of booking, subject to availability.

Please note that all holiday homes are strictly non-smoking.

The family:  You will meet us when we come.  I bought Sunnybrae in 2003, having worked in Lloyds Insurance before then.  Sunnybrae was rather sad then, but lots of hard work and investment have gained us 4 stars ("excellent") from VisitScotland.  My partner, Jenn, and I go out of our way to make sure that you have a really happy stay, which is why we have the freezer of full of goodies and get barbecue food from a good butcher in Oban.  We must be doing something right because guests return year after year - or perhaps it's the stunning scenery, which even we still appreciate.

I am also a volunteer fire-fighter on Luing, so if you see me leaving Sunnybrae at top speed - I am not running away from you!
