Clayton Caravan Park
The Kennedy family have put a great deal of effort into developing and maintaining the park since it was established in 1966. With continual improvements, the Park offers some of the finest facilities to be found on a caravan park anywhere in Scotland.
We are well served by bus, rail, road and air. The main line railway station at Leuchars is 3 miles away and Scotair flights operate from Dundee Airport daily (10 miles from Clayton). There is a bus stop at the Caravan Park and a frequent service to and from all the major towns - if you want to visit St Andrews, Cupar or Dundee and not have the problem of parking the car, leave it at Clayton and hop on the bus. Clayton Caravan Park supplies gas and has its own qualified maintenance staff.
Over the years our touring area at Clayton has developed into a seasonal park, however we also welcome nightly stays. Customers rent the pitch for the March to October season and also store their caravans on the park over the winter period. All of our touring pitches are Super Pitches each being hard standings with water, electric and waste water hook ups. The pitches have a sheltered position close to the utility block and are also within 100 meters of the leisure facilities. Each pitch has ample space for awnings and a car. We also welcome enquiries for one or a few nights.
Our utility block includes showers, bath, toilets, disabled toilet, chemical disposal and self service laundry - among the best facilities anywhere in the country for touring caravan owners. The 5 star rated facility by Visit Scotland includes underfloor heating, fully automated shower controls, and brand new sanitarware throughout.
Facilities on or near the park:
In our main building you will find our restaurant, shop, licensed bar, games room and toddlers soft play area. Within the park we also have modern toilets, showers, baths and a laundry room with drying and ironing facilities. All of these facilities are designed for wheelchair use, including a disabled shower in the toilet block. The park is supplied with Wifi internet.
Down at our own stretch of the River Eden we have a dog-walking area and a football pitch for our future football stars. For the wee ones there are two play parks to keep them amused. Excellent trout fishing can be enjoyed on the River Eden
