This is a peaceful friendly park, extending on to a beautiful sandy beach. Excellent facilities including free showers and family/disabled room with shower. Luxury holiday homes for hire with panoramic views. Pleasant beach or pavement walk to the village. A warm and friendly welcome awaits all our visitors.

Welcome to Sands of Luce Holiday Park, a multi-award-winning family-run holiday park on the idyllic sandy shores of Luce Bay in the far soth-west of Scotland. Sands is he perfect location for an amazing short break or a full holiday which will leave you relaxed and refreshed.  We have beach-side touring and camping pitches.  Our facilites and services are all maintained to a very high standard.  But don't take our word for it - check our super online reviews on Facebook, Tripadvisor, Pitchup and Google.

Facilities on or near the park:
We have many fantastic on-site facilities, such as The Lighthouse Bar, the Beach Hut Cafe and the legendary StrEatery 82, which serves tastey organic food.  Yummy is the word for it!

During the summer there are exciting activites for all the family, including our adventure activity days with the Galloway Activity Centre, wild-food forages with Galloway Wild Foods, beach safaris with the RSPB, power-kite lessons, dance classes, face-painting, bouncy castle and...the list goes on.  You'll never be bored.

Tourist attractions within easy reach:
 There are plenty of places to visit - beautiful gardens at Ardwell, Castle Kennedy, Glenwan and Port Logan. the R.S.P.B. Visitor Centre at the Mull of Galloway - the most southerly lighthouse in Scotland. Short sea crossing to Ireland with coach tours available.

Sandhead is just 0.5 miles along the beach.  Sandhead has a brilliant local pub (the Tigh Na Mara), a tea-room, a shop and a play area for kids.

Portpatrick is a picturesque fishing village, with a busy marina, several independent shops and a number of events taking place during the summer, culminating in the renowned Lifeboat week.

Port Logan is the perfect complement to Portpatrick, a quieter village with pubs selling real ale;  it's just a cycle run away but far enough to justify treating yourself to a pint.

Places to visit on your holiday;

The Mulll of Galloway is the most southerly point of Scotland and its Lighthouse was featured on BBC's "Coast" for its deafening forhorn and steep sea-cliffs.  Super views of Ireland, the Isle of Man, Cumbria and the Galloway Hills from its cafe.

The Logan Fishpond is a fully restored Victorian fish-larder in a unique setting -  a tidal pool created by a blowhold formed in the Ice Age.  An interesting experience for all the family.

Galloway Forest  Park: a beautiful and peaceful park in the Galloway Hills, with walks, ccling, wildlife-watching

We have some of the most beautiful gardens in Scotland, all within 20 minutes by car.  Visit a different garden every day and see what the mild Gulf Stream air does for us!
