Located in the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, Lochgoilhead sits at the head of Loch Goil, a fjord type sea loch. Only 1 hour from the Erskine Bridge, Glasgow Airport the M8 and Glasgow. The village is accessed from the Rest-and-be-Thankful pass via a 6 mile single track road. This is a special place, surrounded by hills, with superb loch views, as well as a wide range of accommodation, leisure activities and entertainment.

The Scottish Tourist Board awarded 5 stars for the standard of caravans and grounds.

Kingfisher Village is just minutes from the Drimsynie House Hotel, restaurant and leisure centre. There is a scenic forestry road starting at the holiday vans ideal for walking dogs or just stepping out and enjoying the views across Loch Goil to the village and hills beyond.

We are easy to get to. From the M8 at the Erskine Bridge follow the A82 Loch Lomond road to tarbet and then the A83 to the top of The Rest and Be Thankful, turn left onto the B828 which becomes the B839. On approaching Lochgoilhead, guests for Drimsynie Hotel, Lodges or Carrick Castle take the Carrick Castle Road. The entrance to Drimsynie is 300 yards down this road.
