Nethercraig Holiday Park

David Bellamy Conservation Gold Award 2009Nethercraig was upgraded and new holiday homes and lodges establshed in 2009 and is a stunning, 5-star park in the Angus Glens, with static caravans and lodges for hire and touring pitches. The park is spacious and peaceful, with the caravans and lodges well spaced out  so plenty of space for kids to play -  and just four miles from the village of Alyth, with its pubs, shops and restaurants.  Great for wildlife and bird-watching and walking.  Plus trout-fishing on the River Ericht.

Nethercraig is than 90 minutes from Glasgow and Edinburgh and only 25 minutes from Perth and Dundee and is ideal for short breaks and longer holidays.

We have new static caravans for hire and for sale, as well as luxurious lodges.  We also welcome touring caravans and campers, who have their own sheltered area on the park.

Children are welcome;  there is a special area, with plenty of space for them to play in.

Facilities on the park or nearby:
We have a small shop on site, where you can buy the essentials.
There is a laundry, toilets and showers.
Woodland with nature trails.

The long-distance walking trail, the Cateran Trail, goes past the Park.

Alyth:  There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Alyth and the Strathmore Golf Centre welcomes visitors - their good food, friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices make it ideal for meals at any time of the day.

Golf:  The Strathmore Golf Centre has a 9-hole and an 18-hole golf course and welcomes visitors, both novices and experienced golfers.  You can hire golf clubs.

Wildlife friendly:  Nethercraig has a David Bellamy Gold Award, given as a result of our acres of woodland, with wildlife trails, plus bird boxes ,and our pond.  You can see roe deer and hares, red squirrels and mink, buzzards, herons, pheasants and many songbirds.  For information on Glenisla check out http://www.angusglens.co.uk/isla/
